Hospice Volunteers of Waldo County

Welcome

Hospice Volunteers of Waldo County has been training volunteers to offer free, confidential, non-medical support and assistance to anyone with a life limiting disease or illness and their families since 1981. We partner with the medical hospice program of MaineHealth Care At Home as part of the collaborative team to bring support to the people of Waldo County. Our trained volunteers provide bereavement support to anyone in our community who is grieving the loss of a loved one. We are an independent non profit organization funded by generous members of our Waldo County Community. We are a 501c-3 and all services are always free of charge.
