Volunteer With Us
We are always looking for new volunteers.  The role of the volunteer on the hospice caregiving team is central to bringing comfort and companionship to hospice families. Are you a good listener?  Do you like to help people in ways that are meaningful to them?  If you can answer “yes” to these questions you have the essential qualities of a hospice volunteer. We hold volunteer trainings in the spring and the fall. The training is 40 hours consisting of 8 weekly sessions and one all day class. The cost is $35.00 and scholarships are available. Our volunteers are men and women of all ages from all walks of life, a medical background is not necessary.  Volunteers also help in the office and with fundraising events. If you would like to explore becoming a volunteer with us, please CONTACT US to discuss it.
